i assume you are not using M mode.:P you can change the EV value (from -2 to +2) when you are using P, AV, TV mode. For example no. 4, it was over exposed, so all you need to do is to adjust the EV value to -2/3, or -1 for the correct exposure. So what's the correct exposure? Well, it's a very subjective matter...:) some prefer lighter, some don't. Anyway, your camera's metering system can be fooled by certain lighting conditions, and that's where the EV adjustment comes in handy. if you are too lazy to use manual mode. that's all for now and good luck :) the more you shoot, the better you will become for sure :)
