話說因為米國布希政府上半年簽署的振興經濟法案「 Economic Stimulus Act of 2008 」，小弟一家前幾天收到 從 IRS （相當於國稅局的機構）來的一張 USD $1800 的支票，剛好遇上這個 Canon rebate，來去振興米國經濟好了，呵呵 [s:19] [s:19] [s:19]

我被DQ了...因為太座只有ITIN，沒有SSN[s:41]

不過第一次看到35/1.4L有特價說....

的確有 SSN 辦事情會方便一點，記得是 9/11 之後改的規定吧，之後發給外國人的都是（不確定是不是「都是」，或許有例外） ITIN 不是 SSN，不知道最近是不是又改回來了？
那天收到 IRS 的通知的時候還以為要來查稅哩....[s:25] [s:25]

But you should not have too much hope :-)  Canon never pre-announced any promotion.  I\'ve been looking and couldn\'t find any reliable source of this message.  I guess we\'ll wait for a week and see if this message is true.

I\'ve already spent my $600 on a Gitzo tripod, so...

I thought it is $600 per person.  $1200 for only husband and wife...  How to get the extra $600 from IRS? [s:34] [s:34]  Thanks...  [s:44] [s:44]

For those who have children with them, there is an additional $300 for each qualifying child.
I have two kids, so IRS gave me an extra $600 on top of my $1200.

Also, if the households make more than $150,000, the check amount will be reduced.  [s:55] [s:55] [s:55]   Lots of double income family in CA or NY will be over that limited....  Cost of living in CA and NY are super high...  That is unfair....  [s:18] [s:18] [s:18]

果然有便宜…不過你忘了加印表機的錢了
us1photo在reseller rating上面的評價還OK
但它的機身為什麼可以賣那麼便宜？
看了真是讓人心癢啊…

不過沒錢就是沒錢，買了相機，下個月房租就會繳不出來了

[後記] 剛證實了us1photo不是authorized canon dealer
所以沒有rebate啦 :-)
