Canon S100的GPS功能圖文對照說明

4月份趁回台灣時買了台Canon S100當隨身機，用來取代Panasonic LX5。

選Canon S100的原因:
1. 習慣Canon的色彩及白平衡，Panasonic的室內白平衡不是很聰明，色彩也較不習慣。
2. 早已習慣使用DPP來解RAW，Panasonic原廠附的軟體不怎麼好用，Ligthroom還是用不大習慣。
3. 有GPS功能，對旅行來說非常的方便，尤其是要整理幾年前的照片時。
4. 它的體積比LX5更符合隨身機的需要。
5. 24mm的廣角鏡頭，這點很重要。

因為是要帶到國外使用，公司貨或是水貨帶到國外都變成水貨，在價格有差別時，當然是買水貨。水貨沒有附上中文說明書，但是用慣了Canon的相機，所以即使沒有說明書也很快就進入狀況。

唯一就是GPS功能就一直學不來，這兩天到香港的Canon網站下載中文繁體說明書，加上自己一番摸索，終於把GPS功能摸索出來了，所以寫出來跟大家分享。

個人幾個心得:
1. 很類似汽車的GPS，不是一開機馬上可以抓到GPS訊號，必須等一會兒。這對汽車是OK的，但是對相機來說有點不方便，因為相機很少能夠一直開機，關機後重新開機時必須等會兒來抓GPS訊號。

2. 如果一直開機的話，連續記錄(GPS記錄器)的功能無法啟動，無法記錄行進路線。

3. 連續記錄功能(GPS記錄器)很耗電，一定要準備一顆備用電池。

4. 連續記錄功能(GPS記錄器)在汽車內效果不是很好，我是放在相機套掛在腰際，離擋風玻璃還有一段距離，而且隔著皮套。如果把相機放在汽車儀表版上的話，我想訊號會好很多。

5. 定位不是很準確，可能會有10-80公尺的誤差，但是至少可以讓我們知道照片是在那裡拍攝的。

6. 室內沒有GPS訊號，所以記得關閉連續記錄功能(GPS記錄器)，避免無謂的電力消耗。

7. 更換電池重新開機後，必須等一會兒重新抓GPS訊號。

使用GPS功能之前請注意:
1. 安裝Map Utility軟體，這個軟體在相機附來的光碟中。
2. Map Utility必須連接到網路，才會顯示出拍攝位置。
3. 必須要有讀卡機或是連接機身及電腦的USB線，把讓電腦讀得到記憶卡，才能讀"GPS記錄器"所記綠的新路線。

設定GPS功能:

如果只想紀錄拍攝的位置:
請開啟"GPS"功能，關閉"GPS記錄器"功能，這樣的話可以減低電池的消耗http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a149/Chaco293/Blog/05%202012/2012-05/120527%20S100%20GPS/00CHT03B.jpg。

從無法接收到搜尋GPS衛星，到接收到GPS衛星訊號，時間的長短要看運氣。

如果想要連續紀錄行進的路線:
請開啟"GPS記錄器"功能http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a149/Chaco293/Blog/05%202012/2012-05/120527%20S100%20GPS/00CHT05A.jpg，關機後會一直記錄您的行進路線，但是如果在汽車內時，可能信號會不佳。

使用Map Utility (必須連接上網路):

1. 開啟Map Utility:

先把照片檔案抓進來，所以先在"Images"這一欄，左下方檔案夾是要找從那個檔案夾抓檔案。

2. 找需要的檔案夾:

3. 全選或是選擇部分檔案:

我是先把需要的照片丟在一個獨立的檔案夾。

4. 帶進所有的照片:

這時候所有的照片會出現在左側，右側會出現地圖，地圖的左上方可以調整遠近。

5. 拉近:

這時候會出現所有照片的拍攝景點。

6. 照片縮圖及位置:

按下左邊的照片時，右邊地圖會出現照片的位置及縮圖。

7. 輸入GPS記錄器檔案:

按下"GPS log files"後，再按左下方的按鈕來輸入檔案。

8. 按檔案名稱(有日期):

以下這40張照片都保存著EXIF資料，按右鍵時可以顯示所有的拍攝資訊及經緯度座標。

拍列順序以拍攝時間排列，由於S100 RAW檔的原生檔是4:3，所以即使用3:2或是16:9拍攝，地圖上出現的縮圖還是以4:3的原生檔呈現。
