Firmware Version 1.2.2 incorporates the following fixes.
1.Fixes a phenomenon in which the set aperture moves when shooting movies in manual exposure mode using some Canon lenses (such as macro lenses).
2.Fixes the AF point-selection behavior of the C.Fn III-7 (Manual AF pt. selec. pattern) custom function when set to .
3.Fixes the AF point display for the viewfinder electronic level when shooting in the vertical position.
4.Corrects misspellings in the Spanish and Thai menus for applicable products. 哇!!速度真快~~~

昨晚更新之後沒試拍，但是確認更新之後設定不會變，只要更新之前確認電池的電量足夠，更新過程不要動到任何按鍵，更新應該沒問題。
如果你的韌體版本是 1.1.0的朋友要注意，更新為1.2.1或是1.2.2之後是不能恢復到1.1.0。
Note that cameras with the Version 1.2.2 firmware (and also Versions 1.2.0, 1.2.1) cannot be downgraded to a previous firmware version (such as Version 1.1.0). 更新相機韌體比更新調腦的BIOS簡單多了。

Canon 剛為下的中高階單反 EOS 7D 推出新 Firmware，最新版本為 v1.2.2，新韌體主要針對相機的功能及操作作出了以下共 4 項的修正與改善：
•修正了手動拍片模式下，所預設的光圈會意外地轉變的問題（如配合微距鏡頭）。
•修正了自訂功能 C.Fn III-7（手動選擇自動對焦點方式）設定為 1 時，自動對焦點的不正常動作。
•修正了以直倒拍攝時，觀景器電子水平儀的 AF 自動對焦點顯示。
•修正了西班牙及泰文菜單中的串字錯誤。
